Terms of Service

Welcome to Aitis. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Aitis Team ("Aitis", "we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of our website, code execution platform, learning tracks, career prep modules, and related educational services at https://aitis.tech (the "Service").

1. Acceptance & Age Requirements

Eligibility: By registering for or using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age.
Minors (13–18 years): Users under the legal age of majority must review these Terms with a parent or legal guardian to ensure understanding and agreement.
Parental Consent in Spain: Spanish residents under 14 years of age must have verified parent or legal guardian authorization prior to registering.
Representation: If acting on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. User Accounts & Security

You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You must immediately notify contact@aitis.tech of any unauthorized access or security breach regarding your account.

3. Acceptable Use & Code Execution Rules

When using interactive programming modules, code editors, and community tools, you agree NOT to:

Deploy automated crawlers, scrapers, bots, or extraction scripts to harvest lesson content, solutions, or user data.
Execute malicious code, launch denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, or attempt server privilege escalation within code execution sandboxes.
Share account credentials or resell access to Aitis materials to third parties.
Upload harmful, unlawful, abusive, or defamatory content.

We employ automated detection systems to identify fraudulent, automated, or abusive platform usage. Suspicious accounts are subject to immediate suspension without prior notice.

4. Educational Content & Interview Prep Disclaimer

Aitis provides educational materials, interactive coding tracks, exercises, and simulators designed for technical interview preparation.

The platform is not an employment agency, accredited academic institution, or job placement guarantor. Completing courses, solving challenges, earning career grade preparation badges, or achieving internal certifications on Aitis:

Does not guarantee job placement, employment offers, or invitations to job interviews;
Does not guarantee successful evaluation during real-world technical interviews at any third-party company;
Does not create any employment obligation or placement commitment on the part of Aitis or third parties;
Is provided strictly on an "AS IS" basis as a self-learning tool for skill development.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All source code, course structures, interactive exercises, grading algorithms, graphics, brand names, and UI elements on Aitis are the exclusive property of Aitis or its licensors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access content strictly for personal, non-commercial learning.

6. Subscriptions, Payments & Merchant of Record

Merchant of Record: All purchases, paid subscriptions, and digital access passes are exclusively processed and billed by our authorized Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, LLC.
Checkout Terms: Purchases are subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms of sale. Local taxes (including EU VAT/IVA) and currency conversions are calculated at checkout by Lemon Squeezy.
EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal: Access to digital educational content is delivered immediately upon purchase. By completing a transaction, you explicitly request immediate performance of the Service and acknowledge that your 14-day statutory right of withdrawal lapses upon digital delivery.
Cancellation & Refunds: Subscriptions can be canceled at any time via your account settings. For technical support or refund requests within 14 days of purchase, contact contact@aitis.tech.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aitis and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, or data corruption resulting from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the preceding six months, or 50 EUR, whichever is lower.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any legal dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Spain.
